About Us - Meet Our Staff
Jami Dennis, Vice President and Corporate Backup Care Director
Jami is the Vice President and Backup Care Director at ABC Nannies and has been with our agency for nearly 10 years. While at ABC, Jami has worked in all divisions of our company and currently working to expand our services to Fort Collins and Colorado Springs in the upcoming year—keep an eye out for this great service in a community near you very soon! A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and Denver, Jami has her Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and her Master's degree in Sociology, with an emphasis in the feminization of poverty. She has worked in the childcare and the recruiting industry in a variety of capacities for over fifteen years. In addition, she also employs a full-time nanny to care for her son. Jami’s previous experience as a nanny, her personal experience as a nanny employer and her education are invaluable and allow her a unique understanding of all sides of the household staffing industry. When she’s not working, she sits on the Board of Directors for the Alliance of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA), enjoys volunteering in her community, traveling and spending as much time as she can with her friends and family here in Colorado!
Megan Kronstein, Temporary Services Consultant
The full-time Placement Consultant in charge of our booming Temporary Service, Megan has been with ABC Nannies for several years! A native of Colorado, she grew up in Littleton and graduated from the University of Colorado with her B.A. in Elementary Education. Her internship in Denver Public Schools involved teaching a First/Second grade split and a Fifth grade classroom. During her internship, Megan had a great opportunity to volunteer at the Kemp Therapeutic Preschool, a partner of The Children’s Hospital. After graduating from college, Megan taught kindergarten at a private school in Lone Tree, Colorado. Building her experience in the classroom, she made the transition into Human Resources and Recruiting/Staffing, where she worked for a total of four years before joining the ABC team. Her job as the Temporary Services Consultant at ABC Nannies allows her to combine her passion for working with children and parents with her experience in recruiting and staffing—a perfect blend! She works diligently to match the best nannies in Denver/Boulder with our wonderful clients.
Lindsay Lechner, Placement Consultant
As the newest member of the ABC Nannies’ Placement team, Lindsay comes to our agency with 5 years of prior experience working with a domestic staffing agency in San Francisco and 5 years of nanny experience to boot! As an Assistant Placement Counselor she worked to ensure long-term and successful placements between nannies and families seeking reliable care for their children and looks forward to doing the same here at ABC Nannies. A native Californian, Lindsay received her Masters of Counseling degree from San Jose State University in 2005, as well as her Bachelor of Arts degree from U.C. Santa Cruz in 2003. While pursuing her educational goals, she worked as a nanny with several families in the Bay Area, and most recently for a family here in Colorado. With a background in counseling, childcare, and staffing, Lindsay is prepared to take on all of the unique challenges of the Colorado domestic staffing market and help to ensure the needs of our nannies and the families are met. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, exploring Colorado, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ginger Mylander Swift, Owner & President
Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.® in 1994 after working in the business world in sales, marketing and recruitment. She was a summer and part-time nanny through college where she attained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has worked in the clerical placement industry and was hired by one of her clients to work directly for them. She successfully staffed an entire sales and technical division of a computer company and headed up their sales and marketing for their consulting division. Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.® because she wanted to make a difference and nothing is more important than finding a caring person to take care of your children. Ginger has employed wonderful nannies (found through ABC Nannies, of course!) that provided excellent care for her two children. She is currently working from her home office assisting with the billing and marketing of ABC Nannies and works closely with her staff. She is also kept busy as a board member for the Alliance of Premier Nanny Agencies (APNA).
