About Us - Meet Our Staff

Ginger Mylander Swift, Owner & President
Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.™ in 1994 after working in the business world in sales, marketing and recruitment. She was a summer and part-time nanny through college where she attained a Bachelor's in Psychology. She has worked in the clerical placement industry and was hired by one of her clients to work directly for them. She successfully staffed an entire sales and technical division of a computer company and headed up their sales and marketing for their consulting division. Ginger started ABC Nannies Inc.® because she wanted to make a difference and nothing is more important than finding a caring person to take care of your children. Ginger has employed wonderful nannies (found through ABC Nannies, of course!) that provided excellent care for her two children.

Jami Dennis, Placement Director

Jami is the Placement Director and Office Manager at ABC Nannies, and has been with the agency over four years now. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Jami has her Bachelor's degree in Women's Studies and her Master's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in the feminization of poverty. Over the last eight years, Jami has worked in the childcare and the recruiting industry in a variety of capacities; she's been a full and part time nanny, camp director, babysitter and financial recruiter. Her previous experience and education are invaluable and allow her a unique understanding of all sides of the nanny placement business. Working with children and their families is truly her passion and something she hopes to continue doing for years to come! When she is not working at ABC, Jami teaches part time at the university, travels and spends as much time as she can with her friends and family here in Colorado!

Lindsay Danbom, Placement Consultant

Lindsay is the Placement Consultant at ABC Nannies, working full-time acting as a liaison between great nannies and families. With over 10 years of childcare experience, Lindsay’s most recent nanny experience was for four wonderful children in the Denver area. Her experience ranges from working in the non-profit sector to volunteer political involvement in her community. Lindsay also serves as a founding director on the board of a donor-advised charitable fund, The Gordian Fund. A Colorado native, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and entertaining (for those willing to eat what she cooks)!

Kelsi Trapahagan is the newest addition to the ABC Nannies team! A Colorado native, Kelsi recently graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. With over six years of previous child care experience as a nanny, Lead Teacher, and youth volunteer as well as years of customer service experience under her belt, she is a natural addition to the ABC staff! In her role as Placement Assistant, Kelsi is able to draw on her skill set and education to assist in making both long term and temporary placements between nannies and families. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Felicity is the newest member of the ABC Nannies team ! She is very enthusiastic about matching great nannies with wonderful families in the Denver metro area as a full-time Placement Assistant! A mother herself, she knows how important it is to find not only great care for your child but also the perfect match for the whole family. Originally from England, where she graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Applied Psychology and Computing, Felicity has been working with children and families for years; she's worked in a children's home for boys with emotional and behavioral difficulties, at a nursery caring for infants and toddlers, and in 2006 she moved to Colorado to nanny for a fantastic family in Larkspur. In her spare time she loves to be with her family and watch her little girl grow and learn new things. She also loves to travel and loves the challenge that new situations bring to her life. She caught the scrap booking bug since being in the States, which is great because she has a million pictures of her little girl and not enough wall space!
