Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 11:30am /12pm to 6:30/7 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 35 hours per week during the school year and 30 hours a week 4 days a week during the summer.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live- out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for a year or more.

Start Date: March 26th

Children's Ages: Care will be for two teens ages 15 & 11 years old.

About the Children:

Both children are excellent students. The oldest attends Kent Denver and is involved in a variety of after-school and extracurricular activities, including APC classes and soccer. The youngest is also very active in soccer and participates in additional educational programs outside of school, with a focus on math and other subjects, as she works to get ahead and follow in her sister’s footsteps. While the oldest is largely self-sufficient and independent, the Family Assistant will be responsible for helping manage both children’s after-school schedules and coordinating their extracurricular activities, both in and out of school.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard Family Assistant duties, including children’s laundry, light cleaning, dishes, meal prep and light cooking, errands, organizational projects, and pick-ups and drop-offs. The Family Assistant will also help manage schedules, coordinate with vendors, and support any additional specialty projects as needed. The family also employs a housekeeper who handles the parents’ laundry.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience with nanny manager or family assistant duties.
A higher level of education and a 4-year degree are strongly preferred but not required.
Must be a good role model for two teen girls who are on a fast track to academic success.
The ideal candidate will be 100% reliable, organized, and able to stay on top of a busy school schedule.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering PTO to coordinate with their family vacation and paid major holidays.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
