A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Tremolite Dr. and Nova Pl

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday between the hours of 7AM - 7PM for 40 guaranteed hours. Exact schedule will be worked out with the nanny 2 weeks or more in advance. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours, with the flexibility to extend to 50 hours. (10 hours of OT)

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for 4 children ages 12, 10, 8, and 5.

About the Children:

The 12 year old boy is very analytical, fun, independent, a straight A student - loves football, knows the ins and outs of the house, and is a big help.
The 10 year old boy is a jokester, silly, creative, artistic, super smart, super athletic and loves football, basketball, rugby, wrestling, and is a musician.
The 8 year old boy is their hard worker, always wants to help, less naturally gifted in school but works very hard, is very sweet and loves football.
Their sweet little 5 year old son is in prek this year and will attend kindergarten in the fall. He is silly, loves to giggle, rough house, and loves to play hot wheels and flag football.
All 4 boys are in the same public charter school through 8th grade. There are no buses so drop off and pick up is needed and transporting to activities.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private home office spaces.
Dad has a busy schedule which entails a combination of working from home and being in and out.
Mom is present more and works full-time from her private home office, but does take meetings outside of the home on occasion.

About the Pets:

This family has one friendly dog- all candidates must be pet friendly.

This busy professional family of 6 is seeking a true extension of the parents -- a stellar proactive family assistant who wants to become a part of their family for years to come and help keep their bustling household of 4 boys running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including childcare, light housecleaning, meal prep, dishwasher, laundry and linens, making beds, ordering groceries and pick up, stocking household items, transporting kids in family vehicle, and facilitating chores and light homework help.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. Family takes approximately 1 trip per quarter as well as during the summer and will need their nanny to travel with them, with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 or more years of professional experience with school-age children.
Previous experience with household management / family assistant duties and previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
The ideal candidate is firm but loving, has a servant's heart and will be consistent with structure and routines by taking great initiative.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $83,200 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and driving the family vehicle.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s needs.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
