Located at: Dexter & 3rd Ave

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:45 pm to 5:45 with 50 hours guaranteed each week. The family is also needing flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel - advance notice given! The nanny can expect about 10 overnights (including ~4-5 trips per year).

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3.5 and 7.5 months old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is in school part-time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, who is a happy little guy!

About the Family:

Both Parents work outside of the home. They both occasionally work from home 1-2 days a week.

About the Pets:

One, medium-sized dog will be in the home - a dog walker comes each day but she would love being let out to potty on occasion!

Additional Notes:

This family has had a great ABC Nanny for the last two years. She is moving out of state so they are seeking there next long-term nanny!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including tidying the children's rooms and heavily trafficked areas, laundry, light errands, children's meal prep and cooking, household inventory, and providing educational and fun activities for their children!

Travel Requirements:

The family would love their NM to travel with them 4-5x/year! As an example, this year's trips included: Steamboat, Colorado Springs, Palm Beach, the Adirondacks, and Palmetto Bluff.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

4 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Must have an understanding of gentle discipline.
Have a list of fun developmentally appropriate activities.
The ideal candidate for the job will be dedicated to their career as a nanny, they will be patient, kind and professional.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $1,400 to $1,600 a week (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $72,800 - $83,200 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a small health insurance stipend.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
