Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Start Date: October 1st, 2024

About the Children:

Their daughter is a lively & well-tempered child, on a fairly good schedule & routine. She loves being outdoors.

About the Pets:

They have a Goldendoodle, who will spend most days at doggy daycare.

Additional Notes:

This family is very open to feedback from their nanny and wants the nanny to become an integral part of the parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny manager duties, including meal prep, laundry, age-appropriate activities, managing children's inventory, running errands as needed, meal planning and prep for the family, family laundry, and organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position, on rare occasions and with advance notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ year of experience working with infants.
CPR/First Aid Certified
The ideal candidate should be focused on developmental milestones and knowledgeable about child development.
They are looking for a nanny with energy and excitement to challenge their daughter and expose her to new experiences. This person should be highly intentional about her development.
Additionally, the candidate should be communicative, reliable, and team-oriented, hoping to stay with the family for the next two years.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$33/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $69,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2 weeks of paid time off and sick days, paid holidays, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
