Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is open to guaranteeing 35-40 hours per week, candidate's choice. Schedule is Monday through Friday, weekly.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: Long-term, 1+ year commitment is needed.

Start Date: End of Sept/Early Oct.

Three children live in this home, but two are in school full-time and the other has a full-time nanny.

There is a dog, and two cats, in this home. No pet care required.
This family loves pets, so someone who is also a pet-lover would be lovely!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The home is 14,500 square feet. Approximately half the home is used regularly and will require daily upkeep. The other parts of the home can be cleaned weekly/as-needed.
The master bedroom and kids' rooms need daily bed-making, bathroom touch-ups, and weekly sheet changes.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, children's play areas and common areas require daily upkeep/re-freshening and deep cleaning each week.
The family's outdoor garden and pool area require daily upkeep as well (patio furniture, pool bath etc).
Family would prefer a housekeeper who will do adult laundry, linens and pressing/ironing as time allows.

Travel Requirements:

This family travels regularly. The housekeeper will not be required to travel, but will work a normal schedule, including special projects, while they are away.

The family's best employees are team players. They pitch in, as-needed, and wherever it's needed.
Previous experience working for high-end families as a housekeeper is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $40-45/hour (gross) based on relevant in-home experience. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $83,000 - $90,000+ per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Family is offering all standard benefits including 4 weeks (20 days) of PTO, paid holidays, paid sick days and mileage for driving on the job.
Based on pay and relevant experience, they may also be open to offering a $150 health insurance stipend after 3 months of employment.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

3-10+ years of verifiable experience working as a housekeeper, responsible for all deep cleaning, is a REQUIRED. No exceptions.
Must have at least 1-2 years working for private families (outside of cleaning for businesses, hotels etc).
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
