Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, hours will be between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They can guarantee 40 hours a week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position offering stability, excellent compensation, and a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard House Manager duties, including but not limited to: overseeing property maintenance and vendor management to ensure high-quality workmanship; coordinating schedules, repairs, and improvements to maintain the smooth operation of all household systems; managing budgets and contracts with discretion and accuracy; providing hands-on assistance with errands, event planning, and special projects; maintaining detailed records of property operations and maintenance; ensuring seamless communication with the family and staff to align on priorities; and fostering a collaborative environment; supporting seasonal transitions, including preparation and organization of secondary properties; and responding promptly to household emergencies, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is required for the position. This will be rare and a few times a year.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 5+ years of proffestional Household Management (outside of a nanny manager role).
  • 2 years of property management.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable learning high-end technology such as whole-house lighting systems, Apple TV, and digital security systems.
  • Familiar with high-end fixtures and fine details of a formal home.
  • Must have experience with large projects and project management.
  • Knowledge of real estate, property management, and managing more than one property at a time.
  • The ideal candidate will be an exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. They will be a strong multitasker who can wear many hats, stay busy, and maintain attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $80,000 - $100,000 per year (gross) along with full medical, dental and vision benefits.

  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of applicable professional experience with at least two recent House Management references.
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and furthered your education past high school (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • Must be willing and able to complete and take random drug tests.
