Located at: University and Hampden

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday/Tuesday/Friday: 9 - 5, Wednesday 10 - 6, Thursday 12:30 - 8:30 (for a date night.) This family will guarantee 40 hours/week. They have some flexibility on the exact schedule/hours.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: March 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for 4 children ages 9, 7, 5, and 19 months.

About the Children:

This wonderful returning ABC family has 4 fabulous daughters.
Their 9.5 year old is the oldest of 4 daughters, a typical first child, a rule follower who is very sporty, sweet, sensitive and empathetic - more of a tomboy and growing out of the princess phase.
Their 7.5 year old is very expressive and a performer - loves dancing and music, is very girly and loves doing makeup and nails.
Their sweet 5 year old daughter goes with the flow and is very hilarious and loves art projects, performing, and gymnastics.
Their 19 month old is a very sweet, bossy and hilarious toddler girl.
Care is mainly for the toddler as the three older children are in school. All 4 will be home in the summer.

About the Family:

Dad works at an office, while Mom works part-time from home.

About the Pets:

Dog-friendly: a sweet and energetic poodle-mix is part of the family, too!
Pet pig named Pickles, and barn cats outdoors.

Additional Notes:

This family deeply values their Catholic faith, love and logic-focused structure, and prefers creativity and outdoor fun over screen time. (Little to none for the children during working hours).
This family is searching for a true adventure partner - one who is proactive, reliable and trustworthy, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously (the kids love a good kitchen dance party!)
Camping is a big part of this family’s life, as well as anything outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny and family assistant duties including meal and school-day lunch prep, packing for trips, laundry, dishes, school drop-offs/pickups, and house management.
The family also employs a housekeeper that comes to deep clean.
Flexibility is of the utmost importance as hours might shift in schedule - with advanced notice.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position.
This active family is looking forward to bringing their Family Assistant on 2+ domestic trips a year, including locations in WA, CO, and Wyoming’s famous “Frontier Days" in the summer.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 or more years of professional experience with toddlers and school-age children
Previous experience with family assistant /household management duties or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
Must take great initiative as their busy household is constantly in motion.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30- 38/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $79,040 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a family vehicle is provided to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s needs.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
