Located at: Golden

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family needs care three days a week: two days from 8:30/9 a.m. to 2:30/3 p.m., plus one evening from 2/3 p.m. to 8/9 p.m. They are flexible with the specific days and can guarantee a minimum of 18 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position, ideally November through May, 2025. However, family is open to starting with a 3 commitment upfront and extending if it's a match for all.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children a newborn and 12 month old.

About the Children:

The majority of care will be needed for their soon-to-be 12-month-old son, who is full of energy, happy, and chatty. He's on a great routine, and the family is preparing to welcome their second child, a baby girl, due in February. Mom will mainly be focused on the baby but will need some help caring for the newborn as well.

About the Family:

Dad works full-time outside of the home.
Mom, who is sweet and approachable, is a stay-at-home mom who will be around and working alongside the Family Assistant, creating a team atmosphere.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assiaint duties including meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, organizational projects, dishes, washing bottles, and stocking the changing table.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of newborn and toddler experience is required. Any sort of newborn certification would be a huge bonus, but not required.
Previous experience with household management duties is ideal.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom, enjoys engaging with an active toddler, and is flexible with house management tasks. They should be organized, patient, and ready to assist with the family’s transition as they prepare for the arrival of their new baby and move to a new home.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross).

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have T-Dap vaccination.
