A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Inca Pkwy & Baseline

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 1PM. to 6:30 p.m., Friday 12pm to 6:30/7pm. Occasionally while mom is traveling for work they will need additional hours. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: Aug/Sept 2024

Children's Ages: Care will be for two boys ages 8 and 3 years old.

About the Children:

The family's oldest child is in school full-time, so the primary care will be for their youngest, who is in school until 1 pm. Both boys are high-energy, extremely active, and adventurous. While the oldest child is occupied with afterschool activities, it will be essential to engage the younger one in stimulating and enjoyable activities. The family needs a highly active nanny who can devise fun activities and ideas to help channel their energy

A friendly cat and turtle live in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including family laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, meal prep and cooking for the children, general tidying up, organizational projects, errands, packing snacks and staying organized on the after-school schedule.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 year of professional nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children.
Must own a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle and feel comfortable driving in the snow.
Previous experience with household management duties.
Must have a higher level of education either holding an associate or bachelors degree.
Willing to work if the children are slightly under the weather.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and organized around the home. They should be an excellent communicator, keeping the parents informed at all times. The candidate must be engaging, extremely active, and capable of keeping up with two energetic boys

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$34/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, most paid federal holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle ( with all-wheel or 4 wheel drive) valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
Are 18+ years old and has furthered there education (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
