Located at: Parker- Colorado Golf Club

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5:50/6:30p.m. with a 2 hour break in the middle of the day.The family is happy to guarantee 40-45 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 8+ weeks.

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 12 and 8 years old.

About the Children:

Both children are in school full-time, so primary childcare will be before and after school. The majority of the help will be needed after school for pick-ups and extracurricular activities.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office spaces when they work from home.
Mom and Dad have been divorced for several years and have established a positive and cooperative co-parenting relationship. Care for the children will be shared between both of their homes, which are conveniently located just five minutes apart.

About the Pets:

There are three pets in the home, one dog and two cats.
All candidates must be pet-friendly and open to walking their dog each day.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their past nannies and Au pairs. They are currently waiting to get matched with their new Aupair thus the reason they need help for about 8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

Standard family assistant duties are required such as family laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands unloading, and loading the dishwasher, walking the family dog, assisting with various organizational projects around the home. The ideal candidate will be very proactive and able to keep busy throughout the day.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of professional experience with school-age children.
Previous experience with household management duties.
The family is seeking a Family Assistant who can take initiative and stay busy during the day, assisting with a variety of special projects around the home. They are looking for someone who is 100% reliable and comfortable driving, even in snowy conditions. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive and fun-loving.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Both children attend school, but they go to two different schools, each located approximately 15 to 25 minutes away. The nanny is welcome to use a family vehicle for transportation or, if preferred, the family can reimburse for mileage when using their personal car. They are also open to extending past 8 weeks if they find a good fit.

Have a minimum of 2+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
