A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: 28th & Kalmia Ave

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday split shift or 30 hours a week afterschool. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week and provide a schedule in advance. Typical hours will be between 7am to 10am and then 1/2/3pm to 6/7pm. The schedule will very and adjust based on afterschool activities. No weekends, overnight or weekends will be required.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children who are almost 10 and 12 years old.

About the Children:

Both children attended school full-time, so primary childcare will be before and after school. The family's oldest is very involved in team sports playing lacrosse, soccer, and basketball while their youngest enjoys tennis and gymnastics.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has great relationships with their past nannies. They are now seeking a candidate who's experienced and able to handle both childcare and house management.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties include managing and staying on top of the family's schedule, meal prep, cooking for the children, family laundry, light housekeeping, organizational projects, grocery shopping, managing vendors, errands, pick up and drop offs, getting cars washed and scheduling maintenance.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of Family Assistant experience is required.
Must be within a 25-minute commute of the family's home.
Must have a clean driving record ( no more than 2 tickets in the last 5-7 years).
Must be 100% on time and have references to prove their timeliness.
The ideal candidate for the job will be proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and well-grounded.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$37/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 to $76,960 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering gurenteed hours, 4+ weeks of paid time off to coordinate with the families (2 weeks over Christmas, 1 week over Spring break, and 1 to 3 weeks over the summer) paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay with a W-2
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
