Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

About the Children:

Three children live in this home, but two are in school full-time and the other has a full-time nanny.

About the Family:

Employers will be home throughout the day, based on their work schedule and activities.
This is a fully staffed home with several other employees in and out daily.
All candidates must be willing to work as part of a team.

About the Pets:

There is a dog, and two cats, in this home. No pet care required.
This family loves pets, so someone who is also a pet-lover would be lovely!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The home is 14,500 square feet. Approximately half the home is used regularly and will require daily upkeep. The other parts of the home can be cleaned weekly/as-needed.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, children's play areas and common areas require daily upkeep/re-freshening and deep cleaning each week.
Family would prefer a housekeeper who will do adult laundry, linens and pressing/ironing as time allows, but it is not required.

Travel Requirements:

This family travels regularly. The housekeeper will not be required to travel, but will work a normal schedule, including special projects, while they are away.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

The family's best employees are team players. They pitch in, as-needed, and wherever it's needed.
Previous experience working for high-end families as a housekeeper is highly preferred.
Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of housekeeping experience working for private, high-end families as a housekeeper (outside of cleaning for businesses, hotels etc).
Family is seeking a candidate with great references and the desire to stay with their new job long-term.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $37-45/hour (gross) based on relevant in-home experience. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $83,000 - $90,000+ per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Family is offering all standard benefits including 4 weeks (20 days) of PTO, paid holidays, paid sick days and mileage for driving on the job.
Based on pay and relevant experience, they may also be open to offering a $150 health insurance stipend after 3 months of employment.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have 3-10+ years of verifiable experience working as a housekeeper, responsible for all DEEP cleaning.
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional and legal pay
