A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Stagecoach and Evergreen Parkway

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 - 5. The family is happy to guarantee 50 hours per week with 10 hours of overtime.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 2 months from March - May.

Start Date: March 2025

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children who are 5 year old girl/boy twins.

About the Children:

The 5 year old son is athletic and loves soccer, exploring outdoors on hiking trails, monkey bars, slides and outings to the creek.
The 5 year old daughter has such a funny bubbly personality and loves dolls and animals!
Both twins are fun to be around, have an emotional side to them, and are developing into their own unique selves.
Both children attend full day kindergarten from 8 - 3.

About the Family:

Dad primarily works outside of the home or may be in and out.
Mom will be present in the home and is needing assistance with the kids and household as she focuses on her health.
The twins' grandfather (Mom's dad) lives with the family and will be present and likes to lend a helping hand.

About the Pets:

This family has one very friendly dog: a lab /german shepherd mix - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This loving Christian family is eager to welcome a caring nanny / family assistant into their household for 2 months to assist keeping the household running smoothly as Mom is experiencing some health issues and needs an extension of her so she can focus on getting better.

Standard Duties:

Standard family assistant duties including childcare, transporting children, grocery shopping, meal prep, organizational projects, light housework, general tidying, and unpacking from move.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of professional experience with school-age children.
Previous experience with family assistant duties, twins, or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross) plus 10 hours of overtime.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
