Located at: Cherry Hills Village

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: This family is hoping for a Tuesday-Saturday 10am-7pm schedule, guaranteeing 45 hours/week. They are open to Monday-Friday for the right candidate.

Live-In / Live-Out: The nanny will have a private apartment in the new home, located above the garage and laundry room. The apartment includes a living room with beautiful views, a kitchen with a stove, fridge, and microwave, one bedroom, one bathroom, and a washer/dryer. The apartment has AC/heat and a parking spot in the garage. This family will only consider candidates who will move in, once ready in February 2025.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Start Date: Mid-September/October 2024

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: This family has 6 children, the oldest being 23 (out of the house) and youngest being 2! The middle 4 children (ages 13,12,10 & 4 years old) will be in school full-time.

About the Children:

The family assistant will primarily care for the two youngest children but should be comfortable and experienced with older children as well.

About the Pets:

They have a 5-year-old Mini Bernedoodle.

This wonderful family recently relocated from Aspen this year. With five children still in the home, the household is busy and dynamic.
They are looking for a family assistant who will be with them for years to come and who truly enjoys being part of a big family dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family duties include meal prep, errands, driving children, planning age-appropriate activities, managing the calendar/scheduling, laundry, and light tidying up/organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. The family takes approximately 2-3 domestic & international trips a year and will need their nanny to travel with them.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ years experience working with children of all ages, both toddlers up to pre-teen!
A proven track record of managing multi-tasking, strong communication, and organizational skills.
CPR/First Aid Certified
The ideal nanny will be a calm and grounding presence, capable of managing and engaging the children in a positive and fun manner.
The role requires good time management, reliability, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively.
The ideal candidate will be positive, a "do-er," and able to handle the chaos of a large family.
They should be energetic, kind, and able to set boundaries while connecting with all the children.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $32- 35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $75,000- $85,900 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
