Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30am-5:30pm; Tuesday and Thursday 2:30pm - 8pm. Guaranteed 40 hours/week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 3, 19 months, and 4 months old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is in school full time, while the two youngest are home. The children love going on outings to the park and story time.

About the Pets:

This family has two Goldendoodles - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

EX: This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2+ years but is relocating. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including meal prep/cooking for the children, light children's laundry, light tidying up, putting groceries away, organizational projects, managing & stocking inventory of children's essential items/clothing (Diapers, wipes, etc)

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. The family takes approximately 5-10 trips to their home in Steamboat, and one long trip in early December (1 week,) and will need their nanny to travel with them.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ years of experience with infants and toddlers.
Must have previous experience caring for multiple children.
CPR/First Aid Certification
A second language would be nice, but not required.
The ideal candidate should be active, patient, and positive, with the ability to independently manage three children and communicate well.
They should effectively set and enforce boundaries while adeptly handling the challenges of toddlerhood.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30- $35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $60,000 - $72,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
