A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: 20th & Simms

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The schedule will be given 2 months in advance; it will be 5 days a week and the candidate can expect to work an average of 35 hours a week. A typical week will consist of three 10 to 12 hour long days and then two short days.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term role for 3 to 6 months.

Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2.5 and 5 years old.

About the Children:

Both children will be home full-time for the summer. In August the oldest child will be in school full time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, who is adventurous, active, and absolutely loves playing outside. Both children enjoy the park, reading books, and having fun adventures.

About the Pets:

This family has one very sweet dog.

Additional Notes:

Dad is seeking a stable and present nanny to help get the children back on a routine.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including meal prep, cooking for the children, children's Laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, and dishes.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with toddlers, and school-age children
Experience caring for multiple children at one time
CPR/ First Aid Certified
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in gentle parenting, have a patient and kind demeanor, and be extremely reliable.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28/hr to $34/hr.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
