Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm, with 36 hours/guaranteed.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a longterm position, for a 1+year contract.

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 13 and 12 years old.

About the Children:

Both children attend school, just 15 minutes away. The oldest is very active and thrives when busy, enjoying field hockey, lacrosse & rock climbing.
The youngest enjoys soccer, but along relaxing with board & computer games.

About the Family:

Dual working parents, each working hybrid schedules.

About the Pets:

This family has a 60lb Bernedoodle- must be friendly with dogs & comfortable taking him on walks.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including meal prep/meals for children, grocery shopping, errands, light tidying up, organizational projects, managing vendors/household inventory, maintaining the family calendar, pet care, and more.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

4+ years of experience with middle school-age children, with previous experience with household management or family assistant duties.
The ideal candidate will be punctual with great time management skills, highly organized, pro-active in communication, and proficient with technology.
They should also enjoy connecting with pre-teens,a nd posses a friendly demeanor for engaging in fun activities and creating a long-lasting bond.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $50,500 - $66,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
