Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 1 year old.

About the Children:

Their happy and easy-going one year old daughter is very social and likes a lot of interaction and engagement vs independent play.
She is always babbling and waving to everyone she sees!
She enjoys music, reading books, outside play, and stroller walks to their 4 nearby parks.
Their sweet girl was born with hip displacia and is a little delayed with motor development but she just started crawling and is pulling herself up to stand right now.
Once a week, there is a physical therapist who comes to the house to work on exercises to help her to walk so they would want the nanny to learn those exercises to guide her with her motor development.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private home office spaces.
Mom may be working outside of the home a couple days a week.
They are self-proclaimed pretty easy going people but like structure within their casual home atmosphere.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This wonderful family is looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny with strong toddler experience to be an extension of the parents and to join their parenting team for a longterm arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, baby-related household tasks, and general tidying up of main living spaces throughout the day.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is may be open to it occasionally down the road, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

4 years of professional experience with infants, toddlers.
Previous experience with light family assistant / household management duties.
Ideal candidate is proactive, creative and has a strong knowledge of milestones and developmental stages.
Must have consistent follow-through with what the family has put in place for the toddler.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $58,240 - $72,8000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance based on the candidate’s needs.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
