Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4/5 p.m. plus one date night per month. The family is happy to guarantee 35 to 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out job.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children a 2 years old and a Newborn.

About the Children:

This loving family is preparing for the arrival of their second child, who is due on February 1st, 2025. Their newborn will require specialized care due to a severe heart condition, which will involve surgery and extended time in the hospital. The family is looking for additional support as they navigate this journey.

They have an active and curious 2-year-old, and are seeking a nanny who can provide engaging care for him and assist with household routines. The role would involve helping with their toddler and supporting the family by allowing time for them to focus on both children as needed. The parents will be the primary caregivers for their newborn, but they need someone who can easily adapt to a variety of tasks throughout the day and week, offering flexibility and support during this challenging time.

About the Family:

Dad works in and out of the home. He has a private office space. Mom is a stay-at-home mom so much of this role will be tag teaming with her.

About the Pets:

The family has one sweet dog who loves people.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties laundry, meal prep, dishes, washing bottles, sanitizing, and organizing toys. Light errands, and organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of professional experience with infants and toddlers.
Must have newborn experience.
Previous experience with household management duties.
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
CPR & 1st aid Certifications required
The ideal candidate will be a true team player who is comfortable working alongside parents and can seamlessly tag team with mom throughout the day.
They should be genuinely present, patient, and focus fully on the children and their needs. The family values a nanny who prioritizes a fun and enriching environment free from screens.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $72,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations along with T-dap and the flu shot.
