Located at: 6th ave and Monaco

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. Typical schedule will be between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. plus two date night per month. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week and give a schedule 1 month in advance.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Start Date: Jan 6th , 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children a 4 year old and 7 month old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is a super active, observant, and easygoing child who is in school part-time. The family's youngest is on a great schedule and should be on the move here very soon.

About the Family:

Dual working parents, Mom works from home in a private office while dad works outside of the home.

About the Pets:

There is one dog in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has had wonderful relationships with their past nannies and is excited to welcome another nanny into their family.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties include meal prep for the children, children’s laundry, washing bottles, picking up after the children, and unloading and loading the dishwasher.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel would be nice however it is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
This candidate values education and child development, bringing a higher level of educational understanding to the role. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) may be considered for someone who demonstrates exceptional qualities.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, outgoing, and highly engaging individual who thrives in a hands-on role. They should have a natural ability to match the energy of a lively toddler, actively participating in play and fostering language development through consistent interaction and conversation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, arriving each day with a plan and creative activities tailored to the children’s developmental needs. They should be excited to share ideas, ensuring that each day includes a new and enriching experience. This person must be warm and bubbly, greeting the children with enthusiasm and bringing an upbeat energy.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$32/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
