Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week. They would also love some help with occasional evenings and weekends.
Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live out position.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a 8 week contract with the potential to go long-term position for 1+ year.

  • Dual working parents. Mom works from home and dad works at an office.
  • This wonderful family, originally from Europe, creates a richly multicultural home environment. Dad is a linguist, fluent in five languages, and Mom speaks both Italian and Serbian.
  • Grandma lives in the home and will be working alongside the nanny.
  • This position is ideal for a nanny who values teamwork and enjoys the love and companionship of a multi-generational household.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • This role includes all standard nanny manager responsibilities, such as assisting with family laundry, meal prepping, and washing bottles. The nanny will also help organize the children’s belongings, pick up around the home, and handle daily tasks like loading and unloading the dishwasher.
  • Above all, this position requires someone who can be a true team player, working closely with Grandma and contributing to a well-organized, harmonious home environment.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel would be nice but is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of infant experience under their belts.
  • Experience working with multiples (twins/triplets) would be ideal, if possible.
  • Previous experience with household management duties would be lovely.
  • Any additional certifications and/or training would be an added bonus.
  • A second language would be nice but not required.
  • MUST be warm bubbly and outgoing!
  • The ideal candidate for this position is an adaptable, culturally aware nanny who thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented setting. They should be organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about supporting a vibrant, multilingual household with warm and positive energy.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $72,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and paid sick days.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
