Located at: I-70 and Evergreen Parkway

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday- Friday, 8 -3 or 9 - 4 . The family is happy to guaranteed 35 hrs / week with the option to extend to 40 hrs.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: May 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 5 weeks old.

About the Children:

Their adorable 5 week old newborn girl is happy and healthy, mostly feeding on demand and getting into a little bit of a schedule - waking up at the same time every day and napping at the same time.

About the Family:

Dual working parents.
Mom works remote full-time in a private home office.
Dad works primarily outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one cat and a friendly husky dog- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

These wonderful first time parents are laid back and self-described as minimalists --- treating their home like a sanctuary surrounded by nature.
They both feel the importance of play and noise and experiencing the world so someone creative and having an interactive relationship with their daughter, engaging her through different growth stages -- while also being ok with Mom being around and popping in for an hour or so when she can is ideal.
They are looking forward to welcoming in a professional nanny to join their parenting team and offer guidance and expertise throughout their baby's first year of development.
Mom deals with a high stress job so a calming presence would match perfectly with this family.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and baby-realted household task.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position for the first year but the family would love someone who may be open to travel down the road as their daughter gets older.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of professional nanny experience with infants -- preferably recent.
Must be creative, engaging and have a calm presence.
Ideal candidate will find creative ways to interact and expose their daughter to a lot of different things and be willing to guide the parents in a true partnership.
A match for this family will value the importance of learning through play and noise and experiencing the world around you.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$36/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $54,600 - $64,520 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
