Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The house, ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 square feet with 7,000 square feet of high-traffic areas, requires daily attention to the family room, main bathroom, butler's pantry area, and possibly upstairs bathrooms.
The master bedroom and kids' rooms need daily bed-making, bathroom touch-ups, and weekly sheet changes.
Bedrooms require deep cleaning weekly, and guest rooms are cleaned as needed.
The outside service bathroom needs weekly cleaning, and during summer, the pool house bathroom, outdoor furniture, and outdoor kitchen area require daily cleaning.
The dining room, living room, and bar area, used infrequently, need weekly cleaning.
The basement gym and kids' playroom should be cleaned every other day.
Ideally, laundry and pressing would be included, with nannies handling the kids' laundry and potentially the parents' laundry, while the housekeeper takes care of linens, ironing, cleaning rags, and possibly the parents' laundry if time allows.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

Previous experience working in a fully staff home is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and able to wear many hats around the home. They must be able to fill in for additional in home staff on occasion.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $35-$42/hour (gross) based on relevant in-home experience. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $65,000 - $87,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 20 days of paid time off.
Family is open to offering a monthly health stipend as part of the comp package.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-5+ years of consistent DEEP housekeeping experience (outside of a childcare role), ideally in private homes, verifiable with 1-2 references.
House management reference will not count towards housekeeping unless deep cleaning was part of th role.
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
