Located at: Jay Rd & Co-119

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: They would love help two days a week either a Monday or Tuesday and a Thursday or Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, 16 hours a week guaranteed. They are also open to just a Monday or a Friday , 8 hours a week. Overnights for pet sitting will be needed while the family is traveling.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a 6+ month long commitment. Opportunity to extend past 6 months if it is a good fit.

Start Date: Nov 2024

Two dogs live in the home as well as fish and a lizard.
Pet sitting is required for this role and will be needed with advanced notice. The candidate will need to stay overnight and can bring their own dog for pet sitting (as long as they are friendly and house-trained)

This family has a great relationship with their last household employee. They're looking forward to welcoming another candidate into their home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

The Family Assistant/Household Manager will be responsible for overseeing household appointments, managing grocery shopping, light meal preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all living spaces. Key responsibilities include handling family laundry, dishes, and various organizational projects to ensure a tidy and efficient home environment. They will also manage household inventory, run errands, and provide light child transportation as needed. Additionally, they will be responsible for pet care and pet-sitting duties, such as feeding, scheduling grooming, and veterinary appointments. They will provide loving overnight care and attention to pets, especially during the family’s absence.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required however they will need help with overnights for pet sitting.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of Household Management is required.
Must be kid-friendly as their will be a rare and light need for occasional childcare help.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs. They should possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask effectively, and demonstrate flexibility around the home.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross).

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified
