A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: 4th & Main St.

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. with one preset date night per week with a 2pm to 8pm schedule. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: September 3rd 2024

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 2, 5 and 7..

About the Children:

All three children are in school full-time, so primary childcare will be between the hours of 3 pm and 6 pm. The family's eldest child is type A, he enjoys routine and structure, the middle child is their little social butterfly, and she has a fantastic imagination. Last but not least is an independent little snuggle bug. She is in pre -school and is almost fully potty trained!

About the Pets:

This family has two sweet pets in the home a 12-year-old dog and an indoor/outdoor cat.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including meal prep, family dishes, light cooking, family laundry, light housekeeping, organizational projects, sanitizing and organizing all children's items including but not limited to the lunch boxes, diaper bags, car seats, and children's backpacks and assisting with errands, grocery shopping, household inventory and all afterschool childcare.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to occasional weekend date nights.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

1+ year of family assistant or nanny manager experience.
Experience working with two or more children at a time.
Must have a good driving record and be comfortable and confident swimming with the children.
Experienced multitasker who can stay organized.
A higher level of education would be nice - not required.
The ideal candidate will be organized, structured, reliable, and firm in setting boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $25-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $39,000 to $54,600 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick days.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is open to providing a car for driving on the job or mileage reimbursement.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
