Located at: Bayou Gulch Rd and Parker Rd (across from Ponderosa High School)

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 8-4. This family is happy to guarantee 16 hours a week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 4 months.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 20 months old.

About the Children:

The 20 month old girl is very outgoing and charismatic but shy at first - she loves animals, books, puzzles, outside play, and music is her life as she's always dancing!
She has an expressive and dynamic personality that really thrives on positive energy and creativity.
Screen time is limited as she enjoys hands-on educational activities and learning new things that will prepare her for school - she already knows all colors and shapes.
A creative adventure partner who will stimulate her mind and who enjoys exploring new projects together is a good match for this bright ray of sunshine.

About the Family:

Mom is predominantly at home and works from home in a private home office in the basement.
Her partner works overseas and is not present-- her sister is a traveling nurse and will stay there occasionally.

About the Pets:

This family has two cats and 3 dogs- all candidates must be pet friendly.
The cats have free rein throughout the house during the day however the dogs will be present with Mom in her home office in the basement.
The dogs are hypoallergenic poodles.

Additional Notes:

This family is looking forward to having a stellar join their household to care for their toddler and provide a fun, creative educational atmosphere for her.

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare and light child-related household tasks.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of experience with infants, toddlers.
A background in Early Childhood Education is a big plus but not a requirement.
Ideal candidate has a go with the flow personality and a high level of creativity and positive energy.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
