A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Highlands Ranch Pkwy and Grig's Rd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 10 - 5. The family is happy to guarantee 35 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 5 months starting ASAP - August.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 7 and 2.

About the Children:

The 7.5 year old girl is in school full time, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, an active and adventurous 2 1/2 year old who is all boy and loves being outside, playing in dirt and absolutely loves all construction things.
The 7.5 year old daughter is pretty independent, opinionated, loves crafts, is a Harry Potter fan, loves swimming and going for hikes -- a girly girl who loves doing nails and hair.
Their daughter attends school from 8:30 - 3:30 and dad does drop off and either dad or mom does pick up.
Their 2.5 year old son is potty trained, enjoys outings and independent play (especially outdoors) and knows prek curriculum.
Their son attends preschool partime M-TH from 8:30 - noon and nanny will need to pick him up at noon.
Both kids will be home during the summer months but they are involved in small activities such as soccer.

About the Family:

Dual working/WFH parents with private office spaces in the basement of the home separate from nanny.

About the Pets:

This family has one small dog- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family is looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, driving to outings, planning and implementing age-appropriate developmental activities and child-related household tasks: general tidying up and maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness throughout the day.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children.
Ideal candidate is extremely punctual, flexible, tidy, organized and routine-oriented.
Must be open to a variety of outings.
A nanny who is creative, always on time and focuses on the educational aspect of the role would be the perfect match for this charming family!

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
