Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two girls ages 6 and 2.5 years old.
About the Children:

The older child will be in school full-time Monday through Friday from 8 am to 2:15 pm, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest little girl who is a ball of energy.

About the Family:
  • Dual working parents with private office spaces.
About the Pets:
  • There are two dogs in the home and a Bunny that the girls feed and care for.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2+ years.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All Nanny duties including meal prep, children’s laundry, light housekeeping, and dishes.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is required 2 times a year for 5 days at a time.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 1 year of professional nanny experience.
  • Live within 30 mins of the Parker area.
  • A furthered level of education.
  • knowledge of Montessori philosophies and learning.
  • The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, and reliable.  They can fully engage with the children and plan fun and stimulating activities.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $27-$31/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $63,180 to $72,540 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
