Located at: N Power Rd and E Thomas Rd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 2/2:30 p.m. to 8/8:30 p.m. plus occasional overnights/weekends. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it's a great match.

Start Date: July 28th

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 9 and 6.

About the Children:

The oldest child is going into 5th grade. She is brilliant, happy, and talkative. She enjoys reading, basketball, and gymnastics.
The youngest child is going into 1st grade. He is a typical boy who loves football and basketball. He is very smart, in touch with his emotions, and a lover.

About the Family:

Dual-working parents - Dad WFH in his private office space, Mom is in and out as a flight attendant. Both parents plan to be present often.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard after-school nanny duties, including school pick-up, activity drop-off, homework help, and light dinner prep. Additional help with light tidying and household tasks when needed.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ year of nanny experience with school-age children.
A second language would be great, but not required.
The ideal candidate would be active, focus on child interaction, enjoy playing games, and doing puzzles.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $25-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $19,500 - $27,300 over 6-months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, half of what you would see for a full-time, one-year contract.
This includes 1 week of paid time off, 4 paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job, OR a nanny vehicle will be provided.

Have a minimum of 2+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
