Position Highlights

A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: E 59th Dr and N Fulton St

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9 - 3. The family is happy to guarantee 18 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6 months from December 2024 - May 2025.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 9 weeks old.

About the Children:

Sole care is for their happy and healthy 9 week old newborn son who is the joy of their lives.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private home office spaces.
Both parents are currently on leave for the holidays so nanny will overlap with them as a team and then they will be working in private home offices full-time starting in February.
First-time easy going parents who are looking forward to welcoming a professional nanny who can guide them during these first 6 months of their baby's life.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

These wonderful first time parents are excited to welcome in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be an integral part of their parenting team and help guide them through their baby's milestones for the next 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, baby-related tasks such as sanitizing bottles & toys, baby laundry, light organization and general tidying up of main living areas and baby nursery.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of professional nanny experience with infants.
An active flexible nanny who loves babies, is adaptable and enjoys stroller walks in the neighborhood would be a great fit for this sweet family.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$30/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard part-time benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
