Located at: Vail
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family guarantees 40 hours per week, typical schedule would be Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm with some flexibility for evening, weekends and overnights. When travel is necessary weekend work will be needed.
Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position.

  • The child is very bright, loves building and drawing, and loves creative stories. He enjoys reading chapter books, doing arts and crafts (with a designated private area), and outdoor activities like exploring nature, hiking, biking, soccer, and playgrounds.
About the Family:
  • Both parents are high achievers with successful careers, yet they are very dedicated to their child’s well-being and a loving environment at home with harmony.
  • Mom and dad will be in and out of the home periodically throughout the day. They value education, creativity, and outdoor activities, fostering an environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
About the Pets:
  • There is 1 pet in the home a sweet and loving dog.

  • The family seeks an educated, enthusiastic nanny to join them for years to come, building a long-term bond with their child.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • Standard Family assiaint duties combine executive assistant and caregiving responsibilities, emphasizing child engagement while managing tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, homework assistance, activity coordination, errands, educational planning, and other flexible support duties, all with minimal electronic distractions.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is required.
  • Flexibility to travel 4-6+ weeks per year is required. The family travels to luxury destinations, including beach resorts, ski locations, and cultural city tours, and will need the nanny to accompany them.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree ideally in education or fluent in Spanish.
  • Language Skills: A native Spanish speaker is highly desired.
  • The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a sense of humor, be a team player, and be highly engaging and playful with the child. High moral standards, and strong guidance for a child’s independence. High energy, self-direction, and a willingness to be flexible are essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $34-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $70,000+ per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  •  This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • A vehicle will be provided for on-the-job driving when required.
  • Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance may include moving expenses or temporary housing accommodations during the transition, depending on the candidate’s needs and total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of nanny or teaching experience.
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
