A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: N Humboldt St and E 12th Ave

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday noon - 6PM is the ideal schedule. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week and is also open to discussing a Monday - Thursday schedule with flexibility for the right candidate.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a 6 month position - potentially longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 10 weeks old.

About the Children:

Their adorable happy and healthy 2 month old son is thriving and getting into a good napping and eating schedule.
Baby boy loves his daily walks in the stroller to the nearby Denver Botanical Gardens and Cheesman Park.

About the Family:

Dad works full-time in his office outside of the home.
Mom is an artist and has an art studio in a private home space so she is primarily at home or in and out.
They have a casual, friendly, fragrance-free household and they are very health-conscious.
Both parents have busy schedules and a lot of moving pieces in their household.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

These wonderful first time parents are looking forward to having a reliable, proactive, detail-oriented family assistant become an important part of their parenting team and assist in keeping their busy household running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including total and complete childcare responsibilities, online grocery shopping, simple family meal prep, light household tasks including dishes, trash, general laundry and linens, tidying of general living spaces and organization. They have a housekeeper once a month for heavy cleaning.

Travel Requirements:

The family would love someone who is open to occasional travel with the family with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years+ of professional nanny experience with infants.
Previous experience with family assistant duties.
The ideal candidate is positive, engaging, energetic and will be a very attentive, supportive, and loving support for their sweet son.
Other important qualities that the family values: clear open direct communication, health consciousness, organizational skills, and someone who is reliable and operationally excellent.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$33/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to discussing a possible health insurance stipend.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, and tdap.
