Located at: Sheridan Pkwy and Lowell Blvd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday 7:45 - 4:45p, Tuesday and Wednesday 8-3p, Thursday 1-4p. Fridays off plus one Monday off - with pay! - per month. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-Out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: End of December or early January, 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3.5 years old and newborn.

About the Children:

Their bright, energetic 3 year old son is "all boy. He loves imaginary play and exploring outdoors. He is in preschool MWF from 8:15 - 11 and is transitioning well to his new role as big brother.
Their happy and healthy newborn daughter is a joy and the sweetest addition to their family.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private home offices.
Mom is returning to work from maternity leave in January and will have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. She will be in and out of the home on her days off.
They are very respectful, hands-on parents who are NOT micro-managers. They are seeking a true extension of themselves.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

This family is desiring a family assistant who will work efficiently with them as a team to keep the household running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including simple meal prep, dishes, bottle washing, child’s laundry, light tidying up, errands, grocery pick up, planning developmental activities, and keeping a log!

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who may be open to travel down the road with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years+ of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Previous experience with family assistant duties or previous experience caring for multiple children close in age at one time.
Those who are fun, active, multitaskers, and great communicators will pair well with this busy amazing ABC family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the 30 guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,800 - $62,400 per year (gross) for a part-time position!

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ work-weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This generous employer is also open to offering a potential health insurance reimbursement of $150-$350/month.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
