A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Colorado Blvd & 13th ave

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The schedule will be given 2 months in advance. Working days will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30am to 7:30pm. Mom can guarantee 44+ hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out role.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term role. Mom is looking to keep a nanny for years to come!

Start Date: July 1st 2024

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3.5 and 15 months.

About the Children:

Care is for two active and sweet girls. The oldest child will be attending school part-time in the fall. The girls love going on fun outings, playing at the park, and reading books.

About the Family:

Mom is a physician and single mom by choice! She works a varied schedule so it is important that the nanny is on time and 110% reliable.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current ABC nanny! She has been with the girls since they were born and they are sad to see her go! They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their family long-term!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including cooking for the girls, meal preping, children's laundry, light housekeeping, general tidying up, and errands.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is would be nice but it is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Previous experience working long hours.
CPR and 1st aid certified
Further education is a plus!
knowledge of Montessori-type learning.
The ideal candidate will set good boundaries, follow a schedule, and be patient and kind. They would love a creative nanny who can get the girls involved in day-to-day activities and tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$30/hour (gross)+ overtime! Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $68,000 -$80,000+ per year (gross) with overtime.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
