Located at: Yale and University

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family is offering a schedule of Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with 45 hours guaranteed weekly.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - ideally seeking a candidate who can commit for multiple years if it's a great fit!

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for two adorable children: an active, inquisitive 6 year-old girl and her sweet, busy 3-year-old brother.

About the Children:

The oldest will attend school Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-3:20 pm during the school year. While their youngest will attend school half-days from 8:15- 11:15 am.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny / Family Assistant duties are required. Duties include children’s laundry and keeping the home/children's areas tidy daily, weekly meal planning (with support) and ordering groceries online, support with errands or special projects (such as sorting, packaging and donating used children’s clothing) upon request.
The family has a housekeeper who does all the heavy cleaning. Only child-related housekeeping is required.
Cooking simple and light meals for the family is required 5 nights a week.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel is possible. The family may ask the employee to join them on at least two domestic trips annually (typically 5 days each).

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

6-10+ years of nanny, nanny manager and/or Family Assistant experience with children 6 years and under.
Candidates should have background in or knowledge of child development, Love and Logic, and Montessori learning. They should also be able to create a fun learning environment throughout the week with focused learning activities.
This family is seeking a professional who's engaged, upbeat, confident and passionate about running a household and who will foster their children’s growth and development.
College degree preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

EX: The family is offering $35-$38/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $81,000 - $90,000+ per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Benefits including 2 weeks of PTO at the employee's choosing, paid sick days in accordance with Colorado law, paid major holidays and guaranteed minimum hours are being offered.
Family will also reimburse for gas and milage.

Required Qualifications

Seeking career nannies/FA's ONLY. Must have a minimum of 6-10+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Standard vaccinations are required including T-dap, flu shot, COVID vaccination, and all boosters
