Located at: E-470 and Smokey Hill Road

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8-6. This family is happy to guarantee 50 hours a week with ten hours of overtime.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for 2 children ages 3 years old and 3 months old.

About the Children:

Primary care is for their sweet 3 month old baby boy.
Drop off and pick up from preschool is needed for their active and independent 3 year old daughter who attends preschool every day full-time.
Their baby boy is happy and healthy and getting into a good napping and eating schedule.
They have had a night nanny helping their infant develop healthy sleep patterns.

About the Family:

Dual working parents who go into an office daily, outside of the home.

About the Pets:

One happy (mini!) doodle is in the home - all candidates must be dog friendly.

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2 years.
They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny with a warm personality to their busy household - someone who will be an integral part of their parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard Nanny duties including total and complete childcare, monitoring and encouraging developmental milestones in the children, light laundry and tidying, meal prep, grocery shopping and light pet care.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position as this family loves to travel!
On average the trips are 3 -5 days every month and international travel is needed once a year.
The nanny is paid her hourly rate for her normal schedule while traveling plus given a travel stipend and travel is known a month in advance or more.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years+ of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Previous experience with family assistant duties or previous experience caring for 2 children close in age.
Seeking a proactive nanny who is warm and engaging and who focuses on age appropriate developmental activities and who can help keep their household running smoothly.
A bilingual nanny in Spanish is a huge perk but not mandatory.
A flexible nanny who enjoys travel and outings is an ideal fit for this family.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation between $62,400 - $83,200 (gross) for the regular 40 hours. Then the additional overtime compensation ranges from $23,400 - $31,200 annually. (gross)

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR driving the family vehicle.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
