Located at: East 120th & Holly
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Friday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Thursdays: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM).Occasional date nights or Saturday mornings, if available, would be a plus but are not required. 25 hours a week guaranteed.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a 6+ month long contract with the opportunity to extend.
Start Date: ASAP

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for four children ages 3,3,4 and 10.
About the Children:
  • The oldest child is in school full-time at STEM and is active in various after-school clubs and activities, so primary care will be focused on the family’s three youngest. These three are each unique, with experiences that require a gentle, patient approach. The second child who is officially  is a resilient and high-functioning preschooler who has overcome early challenges and enjoys hands-on activities and physical play but sometimes needs help with emotional regulation. The third child who is also adopted has developmental needs from prenatal exposure, thriving with close attention, encouragement, and sensory play. The youngest child is highly independent, adventurous, and curious, with a strong sensory drive that keeps her engaged and exploring. These three need a nanny who can provide tailored care, encourage confidence, help them communicate their feelings, and create a safe and structured environment for their growth. All of the children are high-functioning and potty trained.
About the Family:
  • Dual working parents who work outside of the home.
About the Pets:
  • There is one small and sweet puppy living in the home who is currently at a doggy training camp.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  •  All standard nanny duties including children's laundry, picking up after the children, unloading and loading the dishwasher, making and packing lunches, creating fun activities, and transportation.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2 years of toddler experience.
  • Must have cared for 3 children at a time.
  • Experience with special needs children.
  • Previous experience with household management duties or previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
  • OT/PT and or behavioral training would be a big plus.
  • The ideal candidate would be a patient, warm, and nurturing nanny experienced with children who have diverse emotional and developmental needs. They should bring a calm and positive approach to discipline, ideally with a background in special needs or trauma-informed care. This person will be hands-on and actively engaged in play, comfortable managing sensory activities and providing structured routines to support each child’s growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $30-$35+/hour (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 3 days of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
