Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year .

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 3, 6 and 5 months.

About the Children:

The 5-month-old baby initially had colic but has now turned a corner and is generally easy-going. The 3-year-old who will attend preschool five days a week until 1 pm loves monster trucks, Hot Wheels, and everything his older sister enjoys. Lastly, a 6-year-old entering first grade, who is sweet, outgoing, enthusiastic, adores her younger brothers and has a strong interest in dragons and Pokémon.

There are no pets in the home

This family has had au pairs in the past. They are looking forward to having a nanny who can stay with them for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including meal prep and cooking for the children, children’s laundry light housekeeping, pick up and drop offs and general tidying up.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of experience with infants & toddlers.
Past experience working with three children.
The ideal candidate will be active and live a health lifestyle, they will enjoy children of all ages and be 110% reliable and on time.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$30/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $42,000 to 46,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 8 days of paid time off, paid holidays, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family might be open to offering a small health insurance stipend.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
