A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: I-25 & E470

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. With a few days a month being 12pm to 8pm. The family is happy to guarantee 16 hours per week.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months with the opportunity to extend.

Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Light childcare will be for a 13 year old.

About the Children:

Most of the day will be focused on household management; however, light after-school care will be needed for a bright and active 13-year-old girl. She is a straight-A student involved in extracurricular activities, so the Family Assistant may occasionally assist with school or bus stop pickups. Additionally, on evenings when her parents are working late or traveling, the Family Assistant may be asked to prepare dinner for her.

About the Family:

Dual working parents who both travel for work.

About the Pets:

One small and sweet pup lives in this home. The FA would be responsible for walking the dog and scheduling grooming appointments.

Busy working parents who are seeking a second pair of helping hands.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

This role includes all standard Family Assistant duties, such as scheduling, light cleaning, light cooking, running errands, family laundry, organizational projects, pet care, dishes, and general tidying. The Family Assistant may also assist with obtaining quotes for household services and light childcare.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, however they may need an occasional overnight.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of family assistant, nanny manager or house management experience
The ideal candidate will be laid-back yet highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently. They should take initiative in identifying tasks that help the family’s household run smoothly, ensuring a seamless and supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$38/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid sick time and PTO should the candidate extend past 3 months.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
