Position Highlights

A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Gilpin st & Arizona
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, with hours generally falling between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. For the first 2 to 3 months, while Dad is traveling, the family will need 3 to 4 split-shift days, working from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Once Dad’s travel decreases, the schedule will transition to either a standard 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift or a 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shift, with 1 to 2 split shifts a week (typically on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). The family guarantees 40 hours per week and is happy to provide additional hours for evenings and weekends if desired.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year
Start Date: Feb 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for two newborn twins.
About the Children:
This is a bustling household of six, where the two oldest children have their own dedicated nanny. Your primary focus will be on caring for the newborn twins or providing support to Mom with household management tasks to help keep everything running smoothly
About the Family:
  • Dad works full-time and will be traveling a lot for work heavily the first three months.
  • Mom is super sweet and thoughtful, she will be home tag teaming with the family assistant throughout the day.
About the Pets:
  • One sweet large dog is also in the home.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has a great relationship with their current nanny who will be focused on the older children. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny into their home and part of their parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard family assistant duties including meal prepping,  family laundry, unloading and loading the dishwasher, light housekeeping, general tidying, and organizational projects.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is not required, however, they would love a candidate who might be open to travel in the future.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2 years of experience with infants.
  • Previous experience with household management duties.
  • Experience caring for 2 children at a time.
  • Must thrive in a team-oriented environment and feel comfortable working alongside additional staff and Mom, who will be present throughout the day.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with infants and multiples and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. They should be highly organized, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to evolving situations while maintaining structure in a busy household. The family is looking for someone warm, approachable, and enjoyable to be around, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $29-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $60,320 - $72,800 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering 7 days of PTO of the candidiates choosing, additional paid time off to coordinate with the families, paid major holidays, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
