About the Children:
This little girl is an energetic and advanced toddler under 2 who thrives on staying active and engaged. She loves dancing, music, and reading, with a special interest in Minnie Mouse and learning her alphabet, colors, shapes, and numbers. Her days are filled with enriching activities like music and dance classes, swimming lessons, and library story time. The family encourages a screen-free environment and values outdoor and hands-on experiences. She’s currently working on potty training and making great progress.
About the Family:
  • Dual-working parents who have demanding jobs and do not work typical hours.
  • Due to mom and dad's demanding schedules, they have a second nanny who helps with evenings and weekends.
About the Pets:
  • There are no pets in the home.

  • This family has a great relationship with their first nanny, who has worked for them for 1.5+ years as well as there current live-in nanny. They are looking forward to welcoming another nanny to their team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • The role includes all standard nanny duties, such as managing children’s laundry, dishes, meal preparation, light cooking, picking up around the home, occasional errands, and planning engaging activities and lessons. The ideal candidate is a creative and resourceful nanny who can incorporate play-based learning throughout the day. The parents are enthusiastic about educational outings and activities and are seeking a nanny who can thoughtfully structure the day to foster their child's development through fun, interactive, and enriching experiences.
Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2 years of in-home experience with toddlers is required.
  • Must be on time and a morning person.
  • Have a good driving record.
  • Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and be proactive in suggesting age-appropriate activities and tools to support the child’s growth.
  • The ideal candidate will be someone who is loving, patient, and focused on enhancing verbal communication through constant engagement, such as talking, reading, and story time, is essential.
  • Seeking someone punctual and reliable, with a proven ability to prioritize safety and build trust. This nanny will be an extension of the family, seamlessly blending into their routines and proactively managing needs, such as tracking supplies like diapers and ensuring nothing runs out. They should have excellent organizational skills, always staying on top of the child’s needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $27-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $66,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement after the candidate's first 6 months of employment.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references.
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew before hire)
