Located at: Louisiana Ave & Race St

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. plus one date night every other week (on a Thursday or Friday). Must be flexible to occasionally stay till 4pm if mom is traveling. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year or more!

Children's Ages: Care will be for one baby who is 5 months old.

About the Children:

This little nugget is healthy and happy on a wonderful schedule and routine. They would love the nanny to stick to the schedule and come up with fun sensory and developmental activities!

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office spaces. Mom works from home and will be in and out while Dad works outside of the home.

About the Pets:

One older pup lives in the home. Part of the nanny's responsibility will be prepping and making the dog meals as well as letting him in and out throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties with light house management including meal prepping ( washing, chopping, and storing), preparing dog food, baby laundry as well as family sheets and towels, unloading and loading the dishwasher, picking up around the home, and organizing.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position. The family takes a few trips a year for 3 to 6 days at a time.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of experience with infants.
1 year of professional nanny experience.
Previous experience with light household management.
Outgoing and comfortable with a work-from-home parent.
Must be able to follow a schedule and be a clear communicator.
The ideal candidate for this role will be confident and experienced with infants. They should be seeking a long-term position with a family they can grow with over the years. The nanny must be proactive in planning fun and engaging activities that support the child’s development as they grow, fostering a love for learning through play and exploration.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$34/hour (gross) depending on experience. Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $70,700 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Must be up to date on the T-Dap vaccination, COVID-19, and the flu shot strongly preferred.
