Located at: Just south of I-25 and Ridgegate Pwky
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4/4:30 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year or more.
Start Date: June, 2025

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for one little boy who is almost 18 months old.
About the Children:
  • Spend your day with the world's sweetest little one who is on a great daily schedule and loves to read, be outdoors - walk to the parks, trips to the pool, picnics in their beautiful yard et cetera.
  • This little guy is transitioning from two naps per day, to one nap per day, and the family would love a nanny who has prior experience with this transition.
About the Family:
  • This is a busy household: mom and dad both work full-time, high-powered jobs.
  • Both mom and dad work from home, in private office spaces. Dad travels regularly during the week. Nanny must be comfortable with work from home parents and occasionally staying an hour late/coming an hour early.
About the Pets:
  • This family has one large, well-trained Shepard (80lbs) in the home and friendly, but excitable, Yorkie. Candidates should enjoy working in a home environments with a furry friends!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard Nanny/Nanny Manager duties including unloading/loading the dishwasher, keeping common areas very clear and tidy, ensuring their son's room is neat and organized, doing the child's laundry and an occasional load of family laundry (towels etc).
  • In terms of management/assistant duties, this busy couple would love help with as-needed trips to the grocery store, running occasional errands, and support with lunch/dinner prep (not gourmet cooking!) while their little one naps/as time allows.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is scheduled at this time. A nanny who enjoys travel and would be open to it in the future would be great!

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • All candidates must have 5-10+ years of verifiable nanny, nanny manager or family assistant experience working with infants to toddlers.
  • Previous experience with household management duties in a previous role would be ideal.
  • Family will give preference to candidates who have a college degree or have certifications or taken courses in ECE, newborn care, child development etc.
  • Dad is bilingual, so someone who speaks a second language  would be lovely, but is not required.
  • These are very dedicated, communicative, and caring parents and they're looking for someone truly great to care for their baby boy! The ideal person will be thoughtful and responsive, on-time and have a keen attention to detail, engaging and willing to truly get down on the floor and play, teach through daily and structured activities, and support their little one's social, emotional and developmental growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross) based on relevant nanny experience. This hourly rate equates to an annualized compensation of $62,000 - $73,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick days.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement for the ideal candidate.
  • Family may be able to provide a car for the nanny to drive on the job, if needed/desired.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19
