Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30, with flexibility. The family is happy to guarantee 45 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 2.5 years old.

About the Children:

The 2.5 year old daughter is a very sweet happy kid, very talkative and verbal for her age, and loves interacting with people.
She is active and enjoys outside play, music, reading her books, and playing on the playground.

About the Family:

Dual working parents.
Mom primarily works from home in a private office space and will probably be going into the office 2 -3 days a week.
Mom also travels on occasion for work so some days she will be home and some days she will not.
Dad works full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one dog - a sweet Border collie- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This fun, welcoming, easy-going family is relocating to CO from Atlanta, GA at the end of May/ beginning of June and they have a great relationship with their current nanny who has been caring for their daughter since she was an infant.
They are excited for another longterm match and are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home who will be an integral part of their parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including total and complete childcare and child-related household tasks, such as keeping things organized and general tidying up of daughter's room and main living areas, children's laundry, trash, and dishes.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of professional experience with toddlers and preschoolers.
A great match is a super-star nanny who is mature, creative, confident, open to a variety of outings, is in tune with childhood emotions and is collaborative with their easy-going parenting style.
Ideal candidate has an early childhood education background and can focus on developmental milestones.
Experience with potty-training is a plus.
Flexiblity is very important since the parents' work schedules may fluctuate (with advance notice) and they also travel for work.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $65,520 - $81,900 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR the option to drive the family vehicle.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a monthly health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
