Located at: S Broadway and E Arkansas

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 48 hours per week with 8 hours of overtime.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live- out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match!

Start Date: August 11th, 2025

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages six-years and 18-months old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is 6 and is starting first grade in the fall and is adventurous, funny, and empathetic.
She may need additional support with her school's IEP.
She loves to do gymnastics, play basketball, and is musically inclined.
Primary care will be for the family’s youngest, their 18 month old son who is easygoing and advanced for his age.
He is a classic boy who loves to run, play outside with his trucks, and chat.

About the Family:

Dual-working Dad family.
One dad WFH in a private office space.
The other dad works in healthcare full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

There are two dogs in the home - all candidates must be dog-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2+ years but is relocating. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including general tidying of the playroom, daily dishes, and child laundry.
Help with family meal prep would be so amazing!

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children.
Education or special needs background would be a huge perk but not a requirement.
French speaking would be a HUGE perk as well!
The ideal candidate would be able to stay with the family for 2-3 years. They would jive well with the family, love the children as if they were their own, and would support and meet them where they are.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours and overtime pay (1.5 hourly rate), this equates to an annualized compensation of $81,120 - $94,640 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to discussing a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
