Located at: Lowry

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. They would love a flexible nanny who is able to stay till 4:30 on occasion. They would also love one date night every two weeks ( can be on a Thursday or a friday).

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: ASAP

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 14 months old.

About the Children:

This sweet, happy almost-one-year-old boy thrives on a consistent routine. He loves outdoor activities, park visits, indoor gyms, children's museums, and music lessons. At home, his days are structured with engaging activities, focusing on walking practice, reading, and sensory play. He participates in an early intervention program with weekly visits from an occupational therapist. The family seeks a warm, engaging nanny who can encourage his development and curiosity.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office spaces when they work from home.
Must be ok with a parent coming out and visiting during lunch.

About the Pets:

One sweet and older teacup pup also lives in the home. The family would love the nanny to bring the dog on walks and let him in and out throughout the day.

Additional Notes:

This family has had Au pairs in the past. They are seeking an experienced nanny who can take charge!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties include meal prep, baby laundry, family linens, unloading and loading the dishwasher, occasional errands, general tidying up, washing bottles, and light organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required however it will be rare once or twice a year.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Must be a strong communicator and able to make decisions while mom and dad are working.
A further level of education in childhood development would be a huge plus.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who confidently structures the child's day, makes independent decisions, and updates the family at the end of each day. They will be creative in planning enriching activities, follow OT guidance, and apply common sense and experience with toddlers learning to walk. Also Being safety-conscious and promptly notifying the family of any safety concerns or notable patterns in learning, eating, or playing is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$34/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $72,000 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
