A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: 56th and Central Park Blvd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 or 11AM - 5 or 6PM would be the ideal days however the family is also open to Tuesdays and Fridays or Thursdays and Fridays for a guaranteed 16 hours per week. Some days may be as early as 9AM to as late at 6PM so flexibility is needed and the schedule is known 6 weeks in advance.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3 months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: April 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 4 months old.

About the Children:

Their happy and healthy 4 month old baby girl is a great sleeper with a calm and pleasant demeanor.
Their daughter is starting to roll over, adapting to a good eating and napping schedule and loves her time outside for stroller rides.

About the Family:

Dual working parents who primarily work outside of the home.
Mom is a nurse and works in the hospital 3 days a week.
Dad works at home one day a week and outside of the home 4 days a week.

About the Pets:

This family has a Bernese Mountain dog who is friendly but sheds alot- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This laid back and casual family are easy-going first time parents who are seeking a nanny to join their parenting team and help guide them throughout their daughter's first year.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare duties and baby-related household tasks such as general tidying up, sanitizing baby bottles and toys, baby laundry.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years+ of professional nanny experience with infants.
A very communicative, detail-oriented, extroverted nanny would be the ideal candidate for this fabulous family.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$33/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
