Located at: Santa Fe Dr. & C470

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday 8am to 3pm, Tuesday - Thursday 8am to 4pm. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week. They would love a nanny open to an occasional date night or later evening.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will mainly be for one child who is 5 months old. His 3 year old brother is in daycare full-time.

About the Children:

The main focus will be on the family's youngest who is cheerful and smiley. He is a cute robust little fellow, ranking 95th percentile in growth. They need a laid-back nanny who can adapt and respond to his needs and cues. Occasionally the family's eldest child will be home when he can't attend daycare. He is highly energetic and loves exploring new adventures.

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office spaces. Mom works from home on Mondays while dad works from home full-time.

About the Pets:

There are three fur babies in this home! Two indoor cats and one friendly pup.

Additional Notes:

Mom and dad are very laid back so they are seeking a go-with-the-flow nanny. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team!

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including light meal prep for the family, children's laundry, light housekeeping such as vacuuming and general tidying up.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of nanny experience with infants.
Knowledge of baby sign language would be a big plus!
The ideal candidate for the job will be active, patient, warm, loving, and kind.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $26-$30/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $40,560 - $46,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

The family is moving from Arvada to Highlands Ranch. They are willing to help pay for gas if the nanny commutes from Highlands Ranch to Arvada until they can move.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19.
