Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm, 30 hours/guaranteed weekly.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position!

Start Date: September 3rd, flexible to start a week or so later.

Children's Ages: Childcare will be for two children ages 3 and newborn.

About the Children:

The oldest child goes to daycare 5 days/week, loves to draw, play dress up, and be playful! They are expecting a newborn baby in late June.

About the Pets:

They have two dogs, a labradoodle & airedale terrier.

Additional Notes:

Both parents have direct communication styles, so they will need someone who can relate & manage.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including meal prep/meals (snacks & lunches) for the children & easy dinners 4x/week for the family, transportation to school, tidying up, laundry, organizational projects, grocery shopping (1x week,) household errands, managing vendors, scheduling pet appointments.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5 years of experience with infants, and must have previous experience in a prior household management or family assistant role.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
The ideal candidate must be a go-getter who goes above and beyond, with the ablity to prioritize, schedule, and stay organized.
They should be proactive, self-sufficient, and possess a can-do attitude, establishing trust and able to work with no direction.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $27-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $45,000 - $54,600 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
